Description
This is inspired by the Mangala or Hanuman Yantra, and is invoked to remove obstacles. This yantra is composed of 21 triangles in 5 rows: 7 in the bottom row, 5 in the second and third rows, 3 in the fourth row and 1 in the top row. 1, 3, 5, 7 and 21 are the relevant numbers. 1 represents unity, 3 define perfection, 5 symbolize intelligence and the unity of masculine and feminine energies, 7 is the number for creation and the natural law. 21 denote perfection and success.
This yantra is usually not enclosed in the scared bhopura. In my version, I have completed the painting with five sacred bindus at the top and bottom in orange (spiritual) and red (material) success. We invoke these five bindus in almost all our Puja’s, especially when we begin the new accounting year (Chopda Pujan).
